CU Direct's Charity Golf Classic Raises Over $21K for Children's Hospitals of Orange and Los Angeles Counties

With picture-perfect weather as the backdrop, CU Direct brought together credit unions and auto dealers for their second annual CUDL Charity Golf Classic

Ontario, CA, December 16, 2015 - With picture-perfect weather as the backdrop, CU Direct (www.cudirect.com) brought together credit unions and auto dealers for their second annual CUDL Charity Golf Classic recently, with all proceeds from the event going towards two southern California children’s hospitals.
 
Held at Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, California, 112 golfers, representing credit unions and auto dealers in the Orange County and Los Angeles County areas, raised more than $21,000 for CHOC Children’s and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Over the last two years, more than $40K in donations has been raise from this tournament, benefitting the two hospitals.
 
The tournament provided an opportunity for participants from both the credit union and auto dealer communities to network and build relationships, while enjoying friendly competition and great camaraderie in a beautiful setting. The day’s event was closed-out with the traditional post-golf reception and dinner, during which the award winners were announced and a raffle of donated articles was held.
