Jerry Neemann is CU Direct’s executive vice president of automotive solutions.
He is a 16-year CU Direct veteran and leads efforts in planning and directing the organization’s dealer and auto buying solutions and initiatives, as they relate to market expansion with new and existing products.
Originally joining the California Credit Union League in 1998 as vice president of business development for CU Direct, he has expanded the company’s operations from the original state of California to a nation-wide network. Jerry played a significant role in expanding the company’s offerings, including: Member Direct, Lending Insights, CUDL AutoSMART, Vero, CUDL GAP, CUDL NonPrime, and AutoPREMIER.
He serves as the managing general partner and Chairman of the Board for Vero, a subsidiary of CU Direct. In addition, Jerry serves as the president and CEO of our CUDL Canada Services Corporation which is leading our corporate expansion into the Canadian marketplace.
In his early years at CU Direct, he was the company’s chief sales officer. He has over 27 years of credit union industry experience, including the development of automotive sales, marketing programs, strategic alliances and organizational development. Jerry started his career in the credit union industry in 1985 as Regional Manager for the Hertz Corporation's western division. Prior to joining CU Direct, he was the founder and owner of his own marketing company, which produced credit union car sales events for various dealer groups, Ford Motor Company, Hertz Corporation, and Avis.
Jerry’s background also includes coaching football at the University of Nebraska, and the Los Angeles Express of the U.S.F.L. For the past 20-years, he’s served as a scouting consultant for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.
Jerry holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska.
