Credit Unions Streamline Loan Origination with CU Direct’s Lending 360 System
Credit Unions Choose CUSO’s Lending 360 LOS to Simplify Loan Processes

CU Direct (www.cudirect.com), the nation’s leading provider of lending, automotive and strategic solutions to the credit union industry, has announced recent partnership agreements with nine credit unions.
As a result of the new agreements, the credit unions will be implementing CU Direct’s Lending 360 Loan Origination System (LOS) to significantly improve the processes associated with originating, underwriting, and funding consumer loan applications.
Credit unions that are utilizing the Lending 360 System include: West Jordan, Utah-based Mountain America Credit Union (488,232 members, $4 billion in assets); Rahway, New Jersey-based Merck Employees Federal Credit Union (26,631 members, $1.86 billion in assets); Santa Ana, California-based Orange County’s Credit Union (89,869 members, $1.16 billion in assets); South Ogden, Utah’s Goldenwest Federal Credit Union (98,283 members, $1.04 billion in assets); Las Vegas, Nevada’s Clark County Credit Union (36,361 members, $525.2 million in assets); Kansas City, Missouri-based Mazuma Credit Union (55,448 members, $493 million in assets); Salt Lake City, Utah’s Granite Federal Credit Union (31,230 members, $345 million in assets); San Jose, California’s PremierOne Credit Union (25,162 members, $342.8 million in assets); and Stockton, California-based Central State Credit Union (20,498 members, $148.3 million in assets).
“We researched many different LOS options, looking for a solution that supported our vision of being a lending organization and making it easy for our members to do business with us,” notes Dan Engelhard, chief lending officer at Mazuma Credit Union. “CU Direct’s Lending 360 LOS proved to be highly functional and provides dynamic decisioning capabilities and automated cross sell opportunities that will support our lending direction. We are excited about our lending future and the partnership to implement Lending 360; this will be a huge enabler to get us closer to our vision of being a lending institution.”
The Lending 360 System offers a powerful, and configurable, workflow engine that provides credit unions with a single lending platform that effectively supports loan application processing activity across all consumer lending channels.
“Clark County Credit Union is excited about the conversion to Lending 360 — as we look to create a fast and modern lending experience for our members, Lending 360 fits the bill with its integration to our other partners,” says Chad Heese, chief operating officer at Clark County Credit Union. “Being able to obtain remote digital signatures, pricing on insurance products, and collateral valuation all from one system will make for a better member experience.”
“A great experience starts with ease of use, and with that in mind, we made Lending 360 both highly intuitive and user-friendly,” said Paul Kirkbride, senior vice president of CU Solutions at CU Direct. “We want to simplify the lending process for both staff and members, and we’re very excited about working with these new credit union partners to accomplish that goal.”
