Citadel’s Jeff March Re-elected as Chairman of CU Direct

Board Election Results and New Officers Announced This Week During Company’s DRIVE Conference

San Diego, Calif., May 18, 2016

CU Direct, a leading provider of lending, automotive, and strategic solutions serving the credit union industry, announced the re-election of Benson Porter, president and CEO of BECU and Nader Moghaddam, president and CEO of Financial Partners Credit Union to new three-year terms on the board of directors at the May 17 Annual Shareholders Meeting during the 2016 DRIVE Lending and Marketing Conference. Erin Mendez, president and CEO of Patelco Credit Union, was elected to a three-year term as director. She recently served on the board as an associate director.

Officer elections were announced during the annual shareholders meeting and included the re-election of Jeff March, president and CEO of Citadel, to a second term as chairman. March has served on CU Direct’s board since April 2008. Also re-elected to second terms were: Nader Moghaddam, president and CEO of Financial Partners Credit Union as vice chairman, and Keith Sultemeier, president and CEO, Kinecta Federal Credit Union as secretary and treasurer.

Also serving on CU Direct’s board of directors are: Donna Bland, president and CEO, Golden 1 Credit Union; Jim Laffoon, president and CEO, Security Service Federal Credit Union; Brett Martinez, president and CEO, Redwood Credit Union; and Sterling Nielsen, president and CEO, Mountain America Credit Union. Chuck Purvis, president and CEO, Coastal Federal Credit Union, serves as an associate director.
