CU Direct Recognizes Credit Unions for Achievements in Lending and Marketing

Credit Unions Presented with Industry Best Practice and Diamond Awards During CUSO’s Annual Drive ’15 Conference

The awards, which recognize credit unions’ accomplishments in lending and marketing, were presented during the company’s annual Drive ’15 Lending and Marketing conference, held this week at the Cosmopolitan Hotel Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A capacity crowd of more than 500 conference attendees attended the event’s Awards Luncheon, recognizing five credit unions for their exemplary lending practices and success in 2014. Three credit unions were recognized by CU Direct for their best practices in the areas of Business Development, Portfolio Management, and Marketing to Members. The company also awarded two credit unions for their overall excellence and success in the lending marketplace, by presenting them with the CU Direct Diamond Award.

In the category of Business Development, San Jose, California’s Alliance Credit Union (36,388 members, $358 million in assets) was recognized with the Best Practice Award. Jacksonville, Florida-based Jax Federal Credit Union (31,008 members, $312.9 million in assets) was honored with the Best Practice Award for their success in the category of Portfolio Management. For their success in the category of Marketing to Members, Omaha, Nebraska’s Centris Federal Credit Union (83,131 members, $543.8 million in assets) was presented with the Best Practice Award.

Concluding the afternoon’s awards, CU Direct recognized Madison, Wisconsin’s Summit Credit Union (142,880 members, $2.07 billion in assets) and San Antonio, Texas-based Security Service Federal Credit Union (915,471 members, $8.3 billion in assets) with the CU Direct Diamond Award, for their continued success in advancing their lending programs and championing the importance of a credit union-owned delivery channel.
